Simple Woman's Daybook ~ March 3, 2009.

For Today...

Outside my window... sunshine and melting snow! It snowed this morning and now it is melting.

I am thinking... that I can hardly wait for spring to come. I am longing to see green grass and hear the birds sing.

From the learning rooms... homemade Saints books, Lenten activities and the usual reading, writing, arithmatic.

I am thankful for... Pet Stain and Odor Remover! Yes... it is a strange thing to be thankful for, but kitty has diarrhea and leaves little spots here and there. Can't wait for her drops to come and hopefully nip her problem in the bud.

From the kitchen... Bean and Rice taco filling. It is delicious.

I am wearing... my brown jumper dress, a brown long-sleeve T-shirt and fleece tights and my fleece jacket. Can you tell that I am cold?

I am reading... Hail, Holy Queen by Scott Hahn and a book about Franz Liszt.

I am hoping... to lose some weight. I have been working out (on the Wii) for almost two weeks, trying to work off the baby fat from three kids.

I am creating... who knows?!? I create things spontaneously and I have nothing in mind today, but that could change.

I am hearing... music from Franz Liszt. A recurring theme in this post. I am gearing up to teach the kids about him.

Around the house... hmmm... organized chaos.

One of my favorite things... seed catalogues. They make me dream of summer and all of the lovely and yummy things that could grow in my garden. I should get ordering seeds if I want to start my garden on time.

A few plans for the rest of the week... visit with friends that we haven't seen for a while.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

This picture is a random photo that my dh took while we were still living in Germany. This is a picture taken in Bonn from the side of a building just off the Marktplatz. Interestingly enough, we didn't realize what it stood for (we weren't church-goers at the time). Now we do and laugh at our ignorance.
